Brandy Boyd, Paralegal and Office Manager
Brandy Boyd holds an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan College. She has been the office manager as well as a paralegal for Knauss & Seaman for over three years. Her primary areas of responsibility include law office management, client response, scheduling, as well as legal research and litigation support. Brandy's skill in organization and client care is one of the many strengths of Knauss & Seaman. Brandy's dependability in discovery scheduling and litigation support is relied upon by the attorneys and appreciated by the clients.
Kate Gamble, Law Clerk
Kate joined Knauss & Seaman as a paralegal in 2008 after working in the aviation industry for 17 years. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1983. Kate has worked as an FAA-certified flight instructor and continues to hold a commercial pilot license. Kate is also a Washington State Notary Public.
Kate was accepted into the Washington State Bar Association Rule 6 Law Clerk program in 2009, a four-year intensive legal training program that will qualify her to sit for the Washington State bar exam. She is currently studying the law under her tutor, Ted Knauss.
Staci Matthes, Paralegal
As a former business owner and journalist, Staci Matthes draws on her communication, organizational, and research skills to serve clients in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, Business Formations, and Real Estate.
Before joining Knauss & Seaman, Staci published the Olympic Business Journal for six years, and worked in newspaper advertising before that. Those positions required her to be extremely detail-oriented and provide a high level of customer service, qualities which are appreciated by both the attorneys and clients of the firm.
She has an Associate of Arts Degree from Peninsula College. Additionally, Staci has been a licensed private investigator and studied legal investigations at the University of Washington. Staci is a Washington State Notary Public.
